TECHNOLOGY company HP has been named as official networking sponsor of the 2010 Ryder Cup, which will be staged at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport in October.
HP will provide a unified wired and wireless network infrastructure to ensure fast, secure internet access to every corner of the Ryder Cup complex, including the tented village, hospitality pavilions, business centre, media centre and the team rooms of both Europe and the United States.
The event will attract more than 200,000 visitors to Newport as well as a global TV audience of millions.
